Filler words are the words that you use to give yourself time to think while in mid-sentence/phrase. You’re more likely to use filler words in the instance that you’re not fluent; however, it doesn’t mean that you’re incompetent for using them. Native speakers are always using filler words as part of their natural speech patterns.
Is this a normal language learning thing that all you language learners do on purpose, or is it embedded in the deep part of your psyche that you ignore all language learning platforms that actively come to you with a collaboration? I mean, we send you posts every day with this kick-ass language learning content that was thought of sincerely by a struggling brainstorming graduate student living in Japan, and yet nobody reads these blog posts?!
