The Thai Language
Thai is spoken by approximately 50 million people, mostly in Thailand. The exact roots of the Thai alphabet are unclear, but it is believed to have come from Southern India. Thai is a tonal language, meaning that there are five different tones used -sometimes the same words can have different meanings based on these tones. Thai grammar is relatively easy as there are no cases, gendered nouns or verb conjugations.
I have been using L-Lingo for about one month, and it has been a successful experience for me. I am on lessons 6 and 7 as I type this note. My retention of the vocabulary has been 100%.
